Paul Pilbeam is formally a Senior Copywriter at Sky, now one half of Mongrel Creative.
He believes good communication inspires action and choice. To learn something, be part of something or love something. Wasteful communication switches off minds. Damages mental health, drains resources and burns money.
Trained as a Graphic Designer, he used the skills and knowledge he’d acquired to forge a career within Client Services, agency side. Looking after branding, advertising, marketing and communications for brands spanning all sizes and industry sectors.
His role as Senior Copywriter at Sky has seen him introduce and safe-guard the application of the brand’s tone of voice to internal communications, campaigns and educational material.
Working closely with Commercial, Marketing and Operational teams in Sky. Paul has gained unique insight to the workings of a large and complicated media organisation. Working with the teams that craft award winning television, build sector defining products, and lead the way in customer service.
He co-founded Mongrel as a creative team that does not belong to one recognised breed of agency or consultancy. It exists to help its clients eliminate wasteful communication.
